"Mi Casa es su Casa"

Over 100 years ago, Jesucita Mijares fled the revolution in Mexico in search of a new life for her family. After settling in Pasadena, she opened a small Tortilla Factory & established her restaurant, featuring her original recipes. Her Tamales & Salsas are made with a Volcanic Stone Molino! Mijares Restaurant remains Pasadena's oldest & finest Mexican Restaurant, serving Authentic Mexican Cuisine & Award-Winning Margaritas. We proudly feature festive indoor & patio dining with a historic banquet facility where Jesucita once lived. Today, Mijares remains under the care of her daughter Alice, & three generations of our family. We celebrate this legacy as a tribute to Jesucita, who passed away in early 1988. In honor of our Matriarch, we uphold her famous motto: "Mi casa es su casa!" We invite you to celebrate & create new memories at Mijares Mexican Restaurant!
